Jared Leto 'Tron' Reboot Moving Forward, Finds Director

Word broke in 2017 that Jared Leto wanted to star in a Tron movie and that Disney, the studio behind 1982's Tron and 2010's Tron: Legacy, was very interested in having him do so. According to IGN, the project has found a director in Garth Davis (Lion) and is moving forward.

Earlier news called the movie a franchise reboot, but it's been in development for years, so who knows if that's still the case or what it means exactly. This new Tron story could bring back Jeff Bridges, Olivia Wilde, Garrett Hedlund, or any of the other cast from the previous films.
